Hello Marina, You will definitely get better I have been off for 17month now and I went through the cycle of waves & windows and I am going through the hardest wave I have ever had right now but I do certainly believe it will end

Thank you for your respons. I had to get back to 75mg efexor. And i took also trazodone and had to take 100mg instaed of 50 mg. Now i have to get stabelized.

I’m also really struggling from a crash during a microtaper and now a small updose. I’ve been holding for 9 days and even though I have some windows, the waves are atrocious. My worst symptom is the insomnia which then compounds all the other symptoms. Praying that we can both stabilize soon.

Zoloft —50 mg to 15 mg — 8 years with a cold turkey and reinstatement in between— was liquid micro tapering, crashed at 14.275 mg and now holding at 15 mg.

@Masha and @Marina, I find that radically accepting the situation can help. Just allowing our body to do what it's going to do. Fighting against it can make it worse. I've been in a wave myself, so I can empathize. I try to remind myself that just like waves in an ocean, waves of symptoms eventually recede. Also, knowing that I'm not alone and that others are struggling too gives me strength. It is- thank you Catina. Today has been a much better day. I think I’m finally turning the corner on this updose and will be staying here for the foreseeable future. I don’t know if I have it in me to go through any more withdrawal.

Yes I too am struggling from my Drs linear taper from 60 to 30 dulox in two weeks that was 4 weeks ago ,, i started to taper,, but as i spoke in here about my depression and suicidal visions on going teary all day,, i realize how IMPORTANT... this group is,, i feel safe in this group as others, yes I know im going to hit another wave,, and omg,,, its debilitaiting for me and my family,, keep your chin up,, today is a good day for me,, im staying at my current dose for another fourtnight or maybe a 2.5% who knows if i feel like this today,, i would stay forever.

@Maria I went thru such a rapid failed taper so I’m reinstating to get stable. The waves are still rough but the windows do come. Patience is so very hard right now. So many people on here have noted that time really does help and that’s what I hang onto. Good luck and God bless you

For me just knowing what was happening was a relief on its own. I am also in another wave after leaving a fairly long window. It is less intense this go around but I hold onto the saying "this too shall pass". I have also come to rely on my diet for healing and I think that is not given the amount of credit it deserves. I started keto but went carnivore nearly 4 years ago and the difference is profound on my overall health. I think anything we can do to relieve inflammation is key. I have narcolepsy and diet alone was the single most effective thing I have done to control my symptoms. Stay strong!

Yes! Angie Peacock calls them dirty windows. It’s where you feel better than the horrific wave but it’s still not great. Those are as much a win as a clear window though because it means you’re not actively suffering. I try to remind myself that they also show that a window will come eventually.

Withdrawel symptoms and stabelising in windows and waves. The waves are very difficult to cope with. Has anyone survived this. It feels like i will never get better.
