Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Velebit Health, Inc. (“we”, “us”) for your use of TaperCommunity — the website at taper.community and the TaperCommunity mobile app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on TaperCommunity. Accounts that post such content are removed, and we act on every report within 24 hours.
Do not post, send, or upload content that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies, or targets another person
- attacks people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age
- encourages self-harm or suicide, or discourages someone from seeking urgent care
- is sexually explicit, or sexualises a minor in any way
- promotes violence or illegal activity
- sells, sources, or solicits prescription medication or controlled substances
- is spam, a scam, a phishing attempt, or undisclosed commercial promotion
- impersonates another person, a clinician, or an organisation
- publishes someone else's private or identifying information
- gives a specific dose or taper instruction to a named person as though it were medical direction
How we enforce this
Reporting. Every thread, reply, direct message, and profile has a Report control. Reports go straight to our moderation queue.
24-hour response. We review reported content within 24 hours and remove anything that breaches the standards above. The account responsible may be suspended or removed.
Blocking. You can block any member from their profile. Blocking hides their posts and replies from you and stops direct messages in both directions, immediately and without notifying them.
Moderation. We may remove content, restrict posting, or terminate an account at our discretion where these terms are breached. We aim to be proportionate, but safety comes first in a community of people in withdrawal.

TaperCommunity is a peer support platform. Everything on it — posts, replies, journals, taper plans, drug pages, and any summary the service generates — reflects personal experience and general information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no clinician-patient relationship is created by using it.
Withdrawal from psychiatric medication can be dangerous. Never start, stop, or change a dose based on anything you read here. Every medication decision belongs to you and your prescriber.
Tools that let you record or chart a taper are for tracking what you and your prescriber have decided. They do not recommend, calculate, or approve a dose.

Your account
You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Keep your password secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think it has been compromised.
One account per person. Do not create a new account to evade a block, a suspension, or a removal.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — see the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
Your content
What you post stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display it for the purpose of running TaperCommunity — nothing more.
Public forum posts remain visible to other members and to search engines. Treat a post as public and permanent before you share health details in one. Journals and taper plans are private to you unless you explicitly share them.
If you delete your account we remove your content as described in the Privacy Policy. Copies quoted by other members in their own replies may remain.
Deprescriber listings
Our directory of tapering-informed clinicians is provided for convenience. We do not employ, endorse, credential, or supervise the clinicians listed, and we are not responsible for the care they provide. Verify licensing and suitability yourself before booking.
Some listings are paid. Clinicians can pay us for a featured listing, which is shown with a green pin on the map and labelled “Featured listing”. Paying affects only how prominently a clinician appears — it is not a recommendation, and it does not mean we have checked their licence, training, or outcomes. We apply no credential check to any listing, paid or unpaid.
Service availability and changes
TaperCommunity is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may change or discontinue features.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velebit Health, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If we make material changes to these terms we will post the updated version here and update the effective date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Nothing in this section removes protections you have under mandatory law where you live. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the rights your local consumer and data protection law gives you, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
