Hey everyone, so this is my weekly update on how I'm doing. Over the past week, my nightly dose has been alternating between two strange extremes: either paradoxical like activation with racing thoughts and insomnia still I fall asleep, or this terrifying, heavy sedation where I feel like I'm overdosing, holding onto my pulse oximeter just to fall asleep. My gut also continues to struggle with waking bloating and sluggish motility that directly flares my mental symptoms, so I’m strictly holding onto my low-FODMAP diet for now since I can't intervene yet.
Since cutting on the 11th, the last couple of days have brought a disorienting new time distortion and temporal confusion where my brain simply cannot process or believe what time of day or night it is specially when I wake up or when it's evening . I've also had this intense visual cognitive disconnect especially when heading to the roof or walking around the house where I can physically see enough to guide my steps, but it subjectively feels like the signal between my eyes and brain is cut off and my eyes are nonexistent.
My baseline feels completely hijacked and on autopilot I talked to a friend on the phone for hours , yet felt so detached it seemed like a completely different person was talking in my place. Aside from taking zero supplements and going up to the roof for 10 15 minutes a few times to lightly dribble a ball
I’ve stayed entirely indoors. My memory feels completely wiped, and it's scary not knowing how I'm even typing or talking or whether this is withdrawal, the medication, or something else. no changes for the rest of the month. Hope you all have a good one, and I'll be back for next week's update.
