Horrible time getting off or establishment of schedule for tapering. I’m miserable.

Hi WendyA, Yes, I can confirm that it can be very difficult. Could you tell us a little more about exactly what you’ve tried so far? What doses did you take? Over what period of time? And so on. That way, we can compare and share our experiences with each other.

Cymbalta — 15mg(12mg) — 17 Jahre — holding -with clinician - 90 mg – 2021: First tapering attempt.
60 mg – 2023: Second tapering attempt.
With a doctor's supervision—but unfortunately, a doctor who doesn't know how to properly taper off an antidepressant.

Mentally for me physically no,, stick with it this is a great support group, and me living in Australia I feel at times not enough information over here for all the symptoms and withdrawals of these putrid medicines they whack onto us,, keep going I know its hard 😪

I agree with Debby, I'm from Australia too and there is little to no support hear in Qld on withdrawing from these drugs. Certainly no Doc or medical person I've gone to.

its ok i found a compounding chemist to take over,, giving me liquid drops they are working out my formula for tapering, not cheap, but saves all the stress andd anxiety of hubby and I weighing beads.
