"Good news is, it takes time but eventually it always got better again, very slowly. Just takes a lot of time to heal. I am struggling a lot right now, I guess I should do a long hold and get better, it's such an individual path" — @AniOn my previous drops this was also the case. I would become for 10-14 days very lethargic, depressed, anxious and anhedonic. But from day 14 I would see the light coming true. No DPDR blasting through the roof, no cognitive problems at all. No chest anxiety, a little bit of minor insomnia. And that was it. I even don’t taste my food properly and as I said my last bit of sexual functioning disappeared as well. This is something entirely different from all the way back from 100mg to 6,8mg. There happened a new injury. And then Mark’s analogy comes to my mind..:”it is better for you knees if you jump daily 2 stair steps or if you jump 60 steps per month.” Lol. Didn’t age well🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Everything I feared in my life becomes true. My biggest regret is to not have listened to my wife. She told me not to taper like that. She just felt that, that’s not going good. I believe Mark doesn’t care at all. He told me that he has difficulties feeling emotions. I’m sure he doesn’t even care about consultants he has harmed. THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE!!!!!!!!! NEVER COLD TURKEY YOUR MEDICATION!!!! And still at the end of the day, I believe some people must cold turkey this drug. I cannot prove my theory. But for some people it must be better to survive one big shock, rather than 3000 little shocks over years. We also extend our exposition time to the drug. I’m way too scared to make a cold turkey. I never would.

Zoloft —50 mg to 15 mg — 8 years with a cold turkey and reinstatement in between— was liquid micro tapering, crashed at 14.275 mg and now holding at 15 mg.
Zoloft — current 2.8 mg — 6 years — actively tapering - tapered from 50 mg
"I did a cold turkey three years ago and it was infinitely worse. I was a shell of a human being with no emotions whatsoever and unimaginable pain and insomnia. This is also terrible not going to lie but I don’t even know anymore. I hate these medications and I hate the stupid ..." — @Maria A.NO MEDICAL ADVICE! ——— I want to be very careful with what I say but if we heal at the end of the day, and suffer with tapering as well, then I think about the benefits of getting rid of this toxic drugs once for all. That’s my opinion.
"Also there are other important individual factors to think about, like you said, partner, family, financial situation, responsibilities, resources" — @AniYeah they have been always there. Nothing new. If I wouldn’t have this chest anxiety I would say what I’m going through isn’t withdrawal at all. But this idiopathic chest anxiety / mild akathisia is so much typical withdrawal. That’s a hallmark.

"about the benefits of getting rid of this toxic drugs once for all." — @LeminaseriI mean, I had these thoughts, too. For sure, but this holds me back:
"it was infinitely worse" — @Maria A.
Withdrawal is not a preview of who you are without the drug.
