Day 8 now and feeling almost unbearabley anxious. I read online it can take 1-2 weeks to adjust? I was talking with google ai and it was saying that this double dosing thing could be an issue and I should try taking it all at one time? The 50 tablet then the 12.5 liquid? Thansk

Some people have issues when switching to liquid. If I were you, I'd give it more time to adjust. As far as changing the dosing, a suggestion might be to not make any more changes right now. You've been doing this double dosing for how long now? It's best to make only one change at a time to keep things as stable as possible. Hopefully some other members will add their input as well.

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Thank you, yes I will continue to hold. I was feeling better yesterday afternoon, although I took a couple supplements. I tried taking it all at bed last night, and I seemed to sleep through to the morning and felt much better waking up in the morning. However I do feel it now come around 4pm. You’re right it’s probably best not to make more changes I just can’t believe 4 hours difference in administration time could make a difference. Doing it at the same time at night worked well as I want to get back to work and was able to perform my morning duties.

So it’s been 2.5 weeks now on the liquid and I am incredibly anxious and restless. I has tried taking Kratom this last month but took it only 8 times in the last month, with 3 days in between at least and a low dose of 3-3.5 grams when I did take it. I don’t know if it’s the liquid or what I am worse than I was last month. Any ideas? Any experience with Kratom? I know I saw that I felt quite normal on the days I took it. I am thinking of going back to the 1/4 pill

Hi Brett, I'm really sorry you're experiencing this. Normally it's best to do a gradual crossover from pill to liquid: https://taper.community/thread/3516b46d-50b6-4048-9abc-533356b74afe If you have to go back to the pill, then you have the option of doing that and then doing the crossover. If it were me, I would be careful adding other substances, but it's up to you. Everyone responds differently to things. Let us know how things go. I hope you have some improvement soon!

Hey BrettW, i‘m sorry it‘s taking so long to stabilize. I also made the experience that it can take quite some weeks to 2 months until i felt quite normal again when a change happened in a sensitive moment. So, honestly, i have made experience with Kratom and had a similar experience at first, that it helped to feel more normal on those bad and anxious days. But i did also experience that taking it too often is also destabilizing and i had days where it just did not work, or only 2 hours and even another dose didn‘t do it. I did use very low dose liquid Kratom extract, i think thats comparable to your 3,5g. I think It‘s indeed another quick fix i used for the worst days, it‘s no solution for our problem (and it should be mentioned there are support groups for Kratom addicts 🙈). As i think i‘ve been in a similar situation i want to encourage you to stay strong and hopeful, despite these awful feelings you endure. It will get better as it did for me and i often thought it wouldn‘t get better and i‘m stuck with that anxiety and threatening feelings. I don‘t have them at the moment despite tapering again and feel _much_ better then when i had that kind of episode. But yes, when these symptoms started for me after a too big dose change i needed up to 2 months to stabilize despite reinstating the old dosage. I root for you it will be more quickly. So again my friend, stay strong and carry on, i limited the Kratom to only the worst days so the brain has still enough room to readapt. It‘s possible that you will endure „waves“ (days or weeks exceptionally bad) and „windows“ (days or weeks that are quite good). I‘m curious for your next update. 💪👍🫂

Thank you both for your replies. Sorry I thought I had replied before it must not have went through. So it definitely was the Kratom. What I ended up doing was taking a little bit of Ibogaine TA that I purchased. Not a flood dose which would be 3-5G but only .7g. I felt weird for like 2 hours but that was enough to break the worst of the Kratom dependency. Took it on Wednesday. Definitely took 3 days to level out but I felt really really good today. Was able to do 5 hours of roofing and as well my daughter was born yesterday! Thank God. Thanks for the support! Again I Will just stay at this level of Trazodone for the foreseeable future.

Very glad to hear from you and you are better now! Very interesting, don‘t have ibogaine experience but have heard from it often now. I‘m glad you figured out it might have been the Kratom and found a solution!👍 And i‘m very happy for your baby!! Congratulations 😍

Am I crazy? I’m really having troubles with this Trazodone quarter. Again 50 at around 9:15. Quarter piece when I awake usually around 2:30-4. I tried taking it at 11 because I didn’t like taking it at 4am. Switched back because how crappy and dizzy I was feeling. I’m 5 days back to taking it when I awake and yesterday felt really good took at 2:45ish. Today at 4:15 and I feel so anxious. I can’t believe it, can a couple hours really make a difference? Do I have to set an alarm at 2:45 so I wake up and take it at the exact same time every day?

Hi Brett, I'm sorry you're having issues with this. Yes, it's important during tapering to keep things as consistent as possible. If I were you, I would stick with whatever dose and time keeps you stable. I hope things improve for you soon. Keep us posted!

Thank you. I will try force waking myself up at 2:30 and see if that helps. I’m hoping it’s just recalibrating after trying to do it at 11 every day for about 8-9 days.
