New tool: a taper plan you can actually see

July 3, 2026··
One of the hardest parts of coming off an antidepressant is not knowing where to start, or what the road ahead looks like. So we built something to make it visible. Head to Taper Planner in the side bar, pick your medication, and choose how much you want to cut each step (as a %). The tool draws your taper coming down — step by step, in real milligrams. Change any step and the rest updates automatically. A great first step when getting started A few things it tries to get right: Smaller steps near the bottom. With most of these medications, the last few milligrams have the biggest effect in your body. So the plan keeps the steps getting smaller as you go down — not bigger. No "jump to zero." The very end is where a lot of people get caught out. Instead of dropping from the smallest tablet straight to nothing, the tool shows the gentle last stretch — and how to get below the smallest pill (liquids, compounded doses, tapering strips, counting beads). There's also a new lesson in Learn — "Coming Off Completely: The Final Steps to Zero" — that explains, in plain English, why the tail is the tricky part. Have a look and tell me what you think: what's useful, what's confusing, and what you'd want it to do next. Your feedback shapes where this goes. 💜

One thing I noticed. I put my current dose in and it said that it was saving it, but when I left the site and then came back, there was a different dose listed.
