Hi l am Jane. Currently tapering. Not coping very well. Great to have found you guys because it’s hard for others to understand.

Was put on Cymbalta 15 years ago in family crisis. l have never functioned as well since then although Cymbalta seemed to work. In trying to wean off Cymbalta l have been given bad advice from a psychiatrist who took me off Cymbalta quickly & put me on a high dose of Lexapro. During that bad experience l met a nurse who introduced me to Anders Sorensen’s book Crossing Zero which explained everything l had been through. Julie is the nurse & she wants me to try & stabilize at current doses & then very slowly taper. Withdrawals are cruel. l didn’t understand how slowly you need to taper to not get withdrawals.
