Amitriptyline — ongoing symptoms 2 years 3 months after stopping I stopped taking amitriptyline in July 2024, following yo-yoing of the dose and a too-rapid taper. I would like to hear from others who have experienced: • Ongoing head, neck and eye symptoms, occasionally affecting other parts of the body. • Heightened sensitivity to medicines and other stimuli. • A feeling that the nervous system has become unusually sensitive or reactive. • Symptoms continuing more than two years after stopping. Has anyone experienced anything similar, and has it improved over time?
