Hi @Felton, welcome! Since you've only been on it for three weeks, your situation is a bit different from long-term users. If you want to come off, I would discuss it with your doctor. I wouldn't abruptly stop it though just in case it would cause you difficulty. A cautious approach would be to make a small reduction and see how you respond first. If you do fine with that, then perhaps you can increase your reductions. It's better to be safe than sorry. It sounds like your original anxiety was simply related to your upcoming trip, which could have been handled without the use of a dependence-forming drug. We have lots of information here about how to deal with anxiety. If you haven't made your trip yet, you might want avoid making a reduction right now or even during your trip since travel brings on extra stress and you don't know how you would react to a dose cut.
