Help me help you

February 24, 2026··
This is still early. Things will break and a lot of what this platform becomes will be shaped by the people using it. If something isn't working — post it here. If you wish something existed — post it here. I read everything and I'm building actively so if enough people want the same thing it'll probably get built. One ask: be specific. "The forums feel slow" is hard to act on. "When I post a thread on mobile the page doesn't update and I have to refresh" is something I can fix today. No request is too small. If you cant post here email me at [email protected]

Catina has sent me your way. I wanted to use the taper tracker and she felt I could get there via clicking Home and then Check-in on the page that pops up. However, when I do that, i do not get a screen display like hers. I get the rectangular box beneath the TaperCommunity heading, but there's no check-in button to click or any drug information. Instead, it acts like I'm a brand new member and that I need to introduce myself, with a clickable button saying "introduce yourself" bottom right of rectangle. This is what I see: "Welcome back Gaucho Welcome! Introduce yourself to the community Introduce yourself" I get the above in the rectangle box middle of page. I made a test intro post and that worked, but the page still shows the same when I return to it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try to go to My Taper in the navigation bar on the left. Then scroll down a little to Log an Entry. Fill that out and scroll down to save and post to community

Well, clicked on My Taper at left. I see "Log an Entry", but when I try clicking on it, nothing happens.

What form? When I click on the "Log an Entry", it does nothing--no forms, no error messages, etc. The button behaves like it's clickable but when I click on it--nothing.

@Gaucho, when you click on My Taper and scroll down a bit, you should see this window that allows you to "log" an entry: image

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

image Screenshot of what I've been getting. Again, when I click on the "Log an Entry" button, nothing comes up at all. So I'm not seeing what your image showed, only the same screen that you see above.

Okay, I understand. May I ask what web browser you're using?

For some reason the numbers aren't coinciding on my taper updates. For instance, in the image below it says it's my 25th Effexor update, but the date is March 24, not the 25th. Is there a reason why this is happening? Thanks BP! image

A couple of things. When I go to make a reply post, I sometimes get the message "Request timed out. Please try again".after clicking on Post/ I try again and same thing happens. I have to leave the Forums area and then go back in and try again. Sometimes that helps, but not always. Second thing, and not as big a deal is that when I click on Forums, often when doing that initially each day, it will say "Loading" but it never displays the page. I have to hit Refresh and then it loads.

I'm having these issues too. Based Psychiatrist is aware of these issues and is trying to resolve them. I make sure to copy what I've written so that if I have to refresh and start over then I can just paste what I had previously written.

Hi! It seems that the Search feature on the site is not working. If I enter a word to search for, nothing comes up. Also, has there been any progress made with the lagging and session time-out issues? I'm still having problems. Thanks so much; we appreciate it!

That's very good to know! Can you send Based Psychiatrist a direct message? There are still some bugs that need to be worked out on the site. Thanks!

I'm wondering if you feel the site may need a small form of revenue, to possibly ward away issues that SA had, where a fund could be drawn on in future if required for development costs or maintenance. I was thinking maybe an off-topic or specific general topics style section of the forum for members who pay a small amount per month or year for a special status that allows access. EDIT: Another option I was thinking could be a discord server for members, but it adds another platform to moderate which may not be ideal.

Pristiq — 30mg — 17 Years — holding | Seroquel — 400mg — 17 Years — holding | Valium — 2mg once or twice a week — 10 years — supporting others | other — Modafinil 200mg — 3 Months — supporting others | with clinician
