I want to believe that I will heal and that healing does happen.
Nearly 3 months off Prozac cold turkey after 19 days of taking it due to severe adverse reaction and kindling.
Previously years on it around 9. Am not on any drugs since cold turkey.
Please cling to hope right now. Iatrogenic injuries - just like with any injury - take time to heal. The nervous system and brain are highly complex systems, but trust that they know what to do. If you're breathing, you're healing - even if it doesn't seem like it. One day you're going to feel slight improvement, and things will slowly get better. It takes a lot of time and patience. In the meantime, can you try and distract yourself as best as you can? Try to focus outward instead of inward. Can you get outside in nature and focus on what's around you? You are safe. You will make it through this. You are not alone.
Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 16.64 mg Trazodone - 50 mg Synthroid - 25 mcg “Your brain and body know how to heal. Trust the process and keep going.” Please Note: I am not a healthcare professional. Any advice given is based on personal experience and that of others in the lay withdrawal community.
