Figuring out where to get the same meds each time

Hi @Carol Ann, You're right, it's important to stick with the same manufacturer if at all possible. I had my own pharmacy put a note in my chart about this. Each time I need a refill I remind them which manufacturer I need. If they don't have it in stock then they order it, which takes a few days. I use Walmart pharmacy. I would try to find a pharmacy that can accommodate your need for sticking with the same manufacturer and stay on top of them about it when needing refills.

I took Catinas advice and called Walmart. I can order as many as ten bottles. I’ll pay for what my insurance doesn’t. Has anyone done this? I just cant take this back and forth looking and seeing very few pharmacies by me will get me liquid sertraline

@Gigi.0809 shared these directions with another member about how to make liquid sertraline yourself. Do you think this would help you? How to make sertraline liquid suspension: You will get 25ml of sertraline 1mg/ml liquid suspension. You will need a pill cutter, 10ml, 5ml and 1ml syringes, and a jar (or similar) for mixing. 1) Cut a 50mg tablet in half. Crush ½ tablet between two spoons over a small plate. Keep the other ½ tablet for tomorrow. 2) Place the crushed ½ tablet into 25ml water in a jar or similar. Shake or stir to disperse. 3) Measure prescribed daily liquid using a syringe and consume. The liquid may have a bitter taste and slight numbing effect on the tongue. Take care with hot drinks and food. 4) Make this liquid suspension fresh daily. Discard any unused liquid into the rubbish. Personally, I have 25 mg capsules (France), which makes it even easier—I just empty one capsule into 25 ml of water to get a perfect 1mg to 1ml ratio. With a standard 1ml oral syringe, this gives you the ability to measure micro-drops as tiny as 0.01 mg at a time.
