Day 3 on 1.25mg Lexapro - Strong SSRI Side Effects

Felt irritable after taking my pill. I also felt mentally fatigued, confused, and distanced from myself and reality. I want to make a note that this is not withdrawal, as I felt bad before cutting, too. What I'm feeling every day is most likely a side effect of a strong compounding effect between my SSRI and ketosis. I want to share again that I should have commenced my taper process sooner than I did. I'm hoping the side effects go away soon.

For most of the day I'm mentally tired and confused after taking my pill. I start to get even more tired and even more irritable after each meal. But then I notice a mental clarity that comes to me at night and the following morning before taking my next pill. It's like as if fasting is healing whatever disruption Lexapro is causing to my stomach and mind. The cycle then restarts when I take it. I want to taper as fast as I can because the brain fog and irritability are unbearable. For reference, the dose I started keto on in late January was 5mg. April 22nd I came down to 2.5mg. It's what I've been on for awhile now, and I don't think it's been enough of a reduction given how long I've done keto for.

Also the brain fog started on 2.5mg. But these moments of mental clarity late night / early morning have only come to me now that I'm on 1.25mg.
