Feeling excellent. No specific symptoms. Just goes to show that 2 strong coffees and no exercise during the day will probably result in the rotten sleep last noted (sigh!)

Coffee can be an aggravator I've found personally when lowering a dose. And movement makes me feel better, even if it's just gently jumping up and down loosely or swinging my arms in knocking on heavens door exercise. Just something to move if I can't get out.
Is the lower dose affecting the amount of sleep you need. Q is a heavy sleep aid
I'm thinking of you π«

Hi there Horizon, you're right, coffee and lack of exercise does make my sleep a lot worse. I try to go for a walk most days, and usually sleep well that night, but strangely enough, or perhaps not so strange, although Q was prescribed for withdrawal-induced insomnia (from valium addiction), it's never had any effect whatever. That's the main reason I want to get off it, doesn't do anything but give me a dependency. I know people in our situation sometimes are looking for some drug to stop various w/d symptoms, but deep down I feel there aren't any solutions but waiting it out patiently. Hope the weather's nice where you are, always helps the mood, doesn't it. βΊοΈ

That's so strange it doesn't knock you out. It knocks me out within an hour and I'll sleep for probably 8 to 10 hours
I needed 12 hours sleep on 400, I'd need about 6 cups of coffee to be able to get to work and be alert enough to work efficiently enough for my boss. It made me slower and slower. Which is why I decided to try and reduce my dose and see if I felt better
The only thing that will override the quetiapine at 400 or even 600 for me would have been stress. Imagine the cortisol was so strong in my body that the quetiapine wouldn't make me sleep. On that dose I would be asleep in 20 minutes normally
So when I can't sleep on lower doses I really need to remember the effect of stress on my sleep ability
No, I agree I'm not touching anything else that's not natural. I will use herbs , like pillow mists, Tisserand roller balls. Baths, meditation. All that kind of thing. But I am refusing to touch anything manufactured to deal with my brain.
This morning was beautiful, I took my friends dog for a walk up a little valley. Cloudy and a bit of rain this evening
Off to bed in a bit
Enjoy your day and I hope you keep staying well and get your exercise and a relaxing night's sleep later
Good night π
