Great news ๐ I hope it's a beautiful spring day where you are ๐ทI'm so pleased your new dose is going well.
My appointment with the doctor went ok. But I wasn't asking to lower my dose, I don't think he would have let me and it's the right decision to stay at 100 and prove to them I'm feeling so much better than I was on 400 and that I can look after my mental health and not go stir crazy. Great that he's listening to the side effects I was suffering with for years and also listening to how my body has had to change and heal from the damage. I'm getting an ECG, I've only had one in 22 years and they're supposed to check every year if you're taking quetiapine. He wants to speak with me face to face. So baby steps with passing on information into the system, luckily to someone listening. But someone who also quite rightly wants to make sure I'm ok on a lower dose. Seeing is believing I suppose ๐
Have a great day R and no karate kicks ๐ฅ ๐

Thanks to a careless instructor trying to show me how bad my stance was by dislocating my knee years ago, by kicking it inwards (not in Japan where I finally got some quality tuition from a 7-dan, very traditional Japanese sensei - I lived there for a year), my karate kicks have never been the same since but I must admit the punch is good, have actually smashed a stack of clay roof tiles. To tell the truth it isn't as hard as it looks, you make a good fist, aim at a point just below the tiles, shut your eyes, and off you go. Part of the success depends on having on a correctly formed punch, and possibly, a bit of Dutch courage. And from fighting people, now the fight appears to be getting off this flamin' Q I guess. Glad to hear you're staying put on the Q for now, it seems to be the sensible choice, and you seem to have struck it lucky with your GP. Yes, another great day outside, it was horrible yesterday, but that's spring weather isn't it.
