Hi @HangInThere, and welcome. I like your username. 🩷 I'm really sorry you're having such a difficult time right now. When you get a chance, we'd love to hear more about your history and background. And if you can create a Signature for yourself, that would be appreciated. You can do this by clicking here and scrolling down to Add Drug History: https://taper.community/settings Is this your first reduction of Lyrica? What percentage did you reduce by? The Learn section on the left has lots of helpful information about Hyperbolic tapering and withdrawal. Here is some clinical info about Lyrica: https://taper.community/drugs/lyrica I'm sorry you're having so many symptoms at once...that's tough. Your body is trying very hard to adjust to a lower dose of the drug. Things won't alway be this bad, so as your username says...Hang in There! Here is some helpful information about each symptom you're having and how you can cope: Nausea: https://taper.community/thread/230a8c26-1cbb-41b8-806f-da294f25ed11 Insomnia: https://taper.community/thread/fad854f7-f9a4-421d-b60f-bf11aa13a251 Headaches: https://taper.community/thread/1addcf07-ac37-4443-8d0d-33685f5747f3 Anxiety: https://taper.community/thread/3613d8b1-99e9-4991-8c0d-ec96ba7534ad Irritability: https://taper.community/thread/6c9e7576-fde9-40d0-ac32-d5d5f755c390 Crying Spells: https://taper.community/thread/6b89abda-daba-44c8-a68f-f09790637183 Fatigue: https://taper.community/thread/16345bac-e9dc-417d-9bd3-a6e2a4cece42 GI Upset: https://taper.community/thread/c16f5e67-65ba-41f4-91e3-01ec6a6fc03d Flu-Like Symptoms: https://taper.community/thread/e8560e38-cda2-480b-a526-f1fe6fe33082 Sweating: https://taper.community/thread/59b6f333-6159-4616-8286-c7c14fb40172 If it were me, I would hold my current dose for a while until things settled down a bit. When things feel unmanageable, then it's a sign we're tapering too fast or reducing by too large an amount. Slower is faster when it comes to tapering. I hope things resolve for you soon! Catina 💜

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg

Hey, please tell more about the dosage, how long you took it. Lyrica longtime is not as easy to taper as it‘s been marketed and i heard comparisons with benzo withdrawl. I used it short time and know it has strong effects. I would suggest to you, taper slowly and update us on your progress. If it gets unbearable, up the dose a little and give yourself time. I‘m curious for your update. All the best!

off Stimulants (2000-2013)
off Fluoxetine (2010-2013)
off Lamotrigine (2013-2016)
off Quetiapain (2016-2020)
