1st Cymbalta Update - In a Crisis

Feeling in a crisis. Been having bouts of brain zaps, dizziness, nausea, insomnia, headache, irritability, anxiety, depression, crying spells, fatigue, electric shock sensations, gi upset, muscle aches, flu-like symptoms, emotional blunting, and sweating.

Cymbalta — 60mg — 6 months — researching taper | without clinician

Welcome, WendyA, I’m sorry that you’re feeling so unwell. I can relate to what you’re going through very well. Could you tell us a little more about your medication history in detail? I see that you’ve only been taking Cymbalta for six months. What dose did you start with, and when did you increase to 60 mg? How long have you been taking 60 mg?

Cymbalta — 15mg(12mg) — 17 Jahre — holding -with clinician - 90 mg – 2021: First tapering attempt.
60 mg – 2023: Second tapering attempt.
With a doctor's supervision—but unfortunately, a doctor who doesn't know how to properly taper off an antidepressant.

Hi Wendy, I hear you,, mine was from 60mgs and per Dr halved it to 30 in two weeks, omg, the depression and emotional blunting severe i , not suffering bad from other headaches yes at first, crying, and anger,, im doing the 5% taper now and its still evident i guess from the major drop in the first,, stay with me,,I beleive it gets better?? but i cant see it atm,, my husband is my support but hes beside hiself with all these symptoms,,im weighing buti think il switch to bead counting only a couple out for the fourtnight,, hang in there its a tough road.
