Zoloft and Trazodone

I was prescribed 50mg on June 1st 2026 for ptsd. I spent no longer than a month on 50mg and would take 25mg mostly - 37.5 for about 3 weeks. Now on 25mg for a week. I think the jump from 37.5 to 25 caused flu like symptoms. But I am Stable today. Also taking trazodone as needed. Was prescribed 50mg on May 15th 2026 and honestly it helped me regain sleep after spending 5 years in a horrible Toxic job. I would rather take trazodone than relapse on alcohol. But now I plan to slowly get off all of it. Thankful for the 4 months on the meds and irritated a proper taper takes time. I wish ssris weren’t the first line treatment for ptsd. Annoying.
