Has anyone reinstated back to their original dose and not gotten horrifically injured? I can’t hold anymore at 15 mg and wondering if anyone has ever had success reinstating?
Zoloft —50 mg to 15 mg — 8 years with a cold turkey and reinstatement in between— was liquid micro tapering, crashed at 14.275 mg and now holding at 15 mg.
In the past I fast tapered twice and had severe withdrawal both times. I reinstated to the dose I was previously stable on (50mg). For me it wasn't an instant fix but after a few weeks I felt better, the most difficult withdrawal symptoms went away even faster. That's my experience. I reinstated relatively fast though, after around 3-4 weeks
Zoloft — current 2.8 mg — 6 years — actively tapering - tapered from 50 mg
Hello Maria. Im investigating this as well. There is no chance I will get better on holding. I have updosed already a bit as you know (from 6,52mg to 6,6mg) But maybe it was not enough. A big shame that my withdrawal started after such a long time so the reinstatement window may be gone. Shame that these „so-called“ experts put us in this place and there is no help as a follow up.
Zoloft — 6,52 — 5 years and 9 months — holding | without clinician
