June 29, 2026ยทยท
I was on 125 mg for over a month and this morning I took 112.5. Feeling good. Going to hold this dose for a while.

Congrats on your first reduced dose! You're doing 10%, which is the maximum recommended reduction. Some people can't even tolerate that much. Really listen to your body as far as symptoms go. Sometimes withdrawal symptoms don't appear right away, so keep that in mind. Continue with regular check-ins so we can see how things are going for you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Thanks Catina! It's actually my third reduction. I started at 150, then went to 137.5, then 125, now 112.5. there was 2 weeks between the first 2 reductions, and then a month before this one. All with no symptoms that I can think of.

Thanks for clarifying! I hope you're one of the fortunate ones that gets through it unscathed. Everyone is different, and I certainly hope things continue to go smoothly for you. Just keep in mind that sometimes symptoms can be delayed, so if it happens I just want you to be aware. You're doing great so far though! ๐Ÿ™‚

@Catina Is there a way we can talk about NSFW or TMI side effects of meds and maybe censor it somehow?

Hmmm....that's an interesting question. I don't think this site is able to do something like that. Based Psychiatrist has the site public so members can share their struggles and learn from one another in a community atmosphere, but members are anonymous so that does help things a bit.

@Catina oh I meant censor so that people who don't want to see it won't see it. But that's alright.

Oh okay Lita, thanks!. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to do that.
