Can someone remind which magnesium type is good for withdrawal?

Some people find Magnesium Glycinate helpful. Others find magnesium to be activating and can't tolerate it. If you'd like to try it, start low and slow to see how you react. 👍

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Ok magnesium is the best for restless legs on withdrawal or generally as I've suffered for years !! Before I go to bed I take solgar magnesium citrate x2 .. if half hour to hour later still twitching I will spray magnesium oil on my legs or soles of feet or take one solgar chelated magnesium pill which works a treat !!! It's not stimulating as I'm hyper sensitive to anything remotely stimulating !

@WeLiveInHope I'm not sure about for withdrawal but I have been taking 200mg magnesium glycinate for years. Before bed is best as it relaxes muscles. I go glycinate because it is easiest on the stomach (some of the others can give you the runs) and it absorbs well.

Prozac

Thank you everyone. I bought the Swanson Albion Magnesium Glycinate, with 133mg but open receiving it the ingredients note both glycinate and oxide. I think I need to re write a post specifying my current situation and what I’m needing help with as this was probably too generic.
