Hi Jamie, I'm also tapering Cymbalta. I noticed that you went from 20 to 10 mg in one go. Have you heard of the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines? It is recommended that you follow a slow taper, if you want to successfully reduce your dosage.

Hi Jamie,
Welcome to our community!
I'm tapering off duloxetine as well, and like Dominic, I noticed that your tracker shows a jump from 10 mg. I'm guessing you may have increased your dose again because you were experiencing withdrawal symptoms?
If you haven't already, I'd really encourage you to read about hyperbolic tapering. Once you get below about 20 mg, tapering can become much more challenging if the reductions aren't small and gradual.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Is this your first attempt at tapering off duloxetine?
Cymbalta — 17,5mg(12mg) — 17 Jahre — holding -with clinician - 90 mg – 2021: First tapering attempt. 60 mg – 2023: Second tapering attempt. With a doctor's supervision—but unfortunately, a doctor who doesn't know how to properly taper off an antidepressant.
