Updated...... good to know Prozac has its peak risk at 1-2 weeks. I'm overall optimistic about this I am a tiny little bit agitated and hyperactive, likely from the activation of Prozac. It is for sure not a small dose.

Welcome Wolf! It‘s great you found us. Wanting to get off for yourself and feeling agitated are signs it‘s worth a try to at least reduce some meds. The dosages are not that small and i i think could be adjusted. It‘s good you do it with a clinician. Track your progress an mention here when you do a taper and how you do it. It helps you and others in similar situations. Also be ready to give yourself time to stabilize, prozac needs longer to leave the system and you need to find out in what time range you are well again. All the best for your journey!

Ah, I am not a native English speaker. By 'agitated' I meant to say more like restless and bored. But yes, the overall experience of restlessness makes me a little bit agitated.

I will prefer to make all decisions always with a clinician and feel safer that way after one bad experience of going somewhat against the clinician's recommendation. My meds have very very low chance of withdrawals. Just must take proper care of my mental health so that I can make the cuts without any obstacles such as seasional depression. My guess is I must hold at 40 or 30 of Prozac during the winter.

Prozac has a very long half-life--which is a good thing--but I've seen people struggle with tapering it. You're approaching things with great care and forethought, so hopefully you'll get through it okay.

That sounds like a wise plan! Listen to your body, and if you feel like you need to hold, then by all means do that.
