Three years on Effexor at 225mg, that's a high dose to come all the way off from. The fact you made it through six months of that is real work, even if it doesn't feel like a win right now. Are the withdrawal symptoms still hitting you in waves, or is it more of a constant low hum at this point? That detail matters more than people think. If they are difficult to handle please speak to your prescriber about reinstating at a dose that you can taper off of. Worth setting up check ins under My Taper as you go, even now that you're off. Seeing how things shift week to week helps make sense of the rough days. And don't be shy about jumping into other people's threads. You just survived something a lot of folks here are terrified of, your perspective carries weight.

Hi @Vicki, welcome! How long have you completely been off Effexor? If your symptoms are unbearable, you can consider reinstating a small dose. Many times that can bring relief. https://taper.community/thread/affd8e83-2361-4973-8f07-76d16744448a https://taper.community/resources/blog/reinstating-after-failed-cold-turkey Let us know your thoughts. I'm really sorry you're struggling right now. Your taper was pretty fast, so it's no surprise you're having a hard time. Catina 🩵
