I just recently retired as a psychotherapist in private practice for 40 years. I have had extensive harm from psychiatric meds and practices (ECT) along with compassion care for the mental health system. I was on meds (antidepressants for over 25 years and benzos for about 8 to 9 years), and have been off all of them since 2021. I was invited to join this community via X. I’d like to support others who are going through this journey, and perhaps share some aspects of my horror story.

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.28 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Synthroid - 25 mcg
