Had been on Prozac for over 20 years- no longer worked. Recent depressive/ anxiety episode lasted 2 years before finding right therapy. Now use a light box every am. Think this helped as much as medication. Will continue to use light box forever but wish to get off duloxetine Currently down to 20 mg which is smallest available pill. Read about opening capsule and reducing sprinkles. Thinking of taking pill as it comes but spreading out dosing to every 36 hours between doses. I know it only has a 12 hour 1/2 life so wondering if anyone has any experience with possible effects of doing it this way. Reactions welcome.
