Been 14 years on medication, I started the tapering journey to live finally med free. I'm tapering down Zoloft and Trazodone since for the last two months. Seroquel will be the last. One step at the time Here from some support during this journey and to provide as well. Cheers

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Hello @Catina Thank you. I'm actually almost two full months since I went down mwas a bit of a jump but unfortunately I was getting paradox effect from the medication. In the last four days it's been rough. I'm going through waves in which I may be fine for like two weeks and then I get again symptoms like somnolence, then anxiety and tinnitus that doesn't leave e all day. It's not the first time I'm tapering but this time I'm determined. I just hope that this is normal and once stable I will slowly tapering the remaining 25. 🙂

It's hard when you're having paradoxical reactions but you still need to taper. I'm really sorry you're in that position. Having waves of symptoms is very normal. It's just our body's way of trying to find balance again. I'm glad to hear that you're determined and committed to get off your drugs! Just taper in such a way that your withdrawal symptoms don't end up worse than the side effects. It's hard to find that balance sometimes. Wishing you the best!

Yehq for some reason, when summer is coming I feel suddenly I'm taking even too much of it. It happened last year and it's happened two months ago. It's nice to have someone that understand what we go through
