Hi I have been on Mirtazipine since July, was prescribed 30mg, this was not really that effective, so reduced the dose to 15mg about 2 months ago, this was better, then reduced down to 7.5mg and the last week to 3.5mg, then Sunday came off altogether now have not slept for 5 days and am really struggling. Perhaps I did the taper down too quick? How should I taper down off 7.5mg please as have an appointment today and the GP will probably want me to start this again. Prior to July was taking Quetiapine for a month at a very low dose from a friend as was seriously struggling with sleep.
