Hi, I’ve been on Fluoxetine for 16years since I was 18 and been on various doses over the years (mostly 20mg) and I’m trying to permanently taper off. I tried before, nearly 10 years ago, unsuccessfully. I don’t have any friends or family who have had this experience so I’m looking to chat to some folk who get it. Hi!

Hi Reeeebz, Welcome to the community! Take some time to read about hyperbolic tapering and have a look at the Prozac-specific information as well. Give yourself plenty of time and don't rush anything. It's best to check in regularly so you can track both your symptoms and your dosage over time. Cymbalta — 15mg(12mg) — 17 Jahre — holding -with clinician - 90 mg – 2021: First tapering attempt.
60 mg – 2023: Second tapering attempt.
With a doctor's supervision—but unfortunately, a doctor who doesn't know how to properly taper off an antidepressant.
