Hi Pat, Welcome to the tapering community! You're tapering the same medication that I am, so I'm looking forward to sharing experiences with you. Before you get started, I highly recommend reading through the information on hyperbolic tapering. Also, be sure to keep a daily record of your dose and your symptoms—it can be incredibly helpful throughout the process. 🙏

Cymbalta — 15mg(12mg) — 17 Jahre — holding -with clinician - 90 mg – 2021: First tapering attempt.
60 mg – 2023: Second tapering attempt.
With a doctor's supervision—but unfortunately, a doctor who doesn't know how to properly taper off an antidepressant.

Hi @Pat, welcome! You're not alone in feeling like antidepressants aren't doing much. They only work better than a placebo pill about 15% of the time. Some people do find they help, but many don't. We'll help you with your taper of Cymbalta the best we can. Here is some information about Cymbalta: https://taper.community/drugs/cymbalta Slower is faster when it comes to tapering, so take your time and allow your brain plenty of time to adjust between reductions. We look forward to supporting you! Catina 💜

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
