Hi, I'm Pamela and I was on fluoxetine for 9.5 weeks and swapped to mitrazapine immediately for 1 week before tapering off that. Its been 11 weeks off both and i'm still struggling with discontinuation. I reacted badly when GP increased the fluoxetine from 20mg to 40mg and back down to 20mg after a week. Then I was swapped to mitrazapine immediately immediately 2 weeks later which didn't agree with me either. I didn't get a chance to taper off the fluoxetine but was told after 9.5 weeks I'd be fine. Brain fog, anxiety, tingles in brain and face, tiredness and generally feeling unwell. I'm hoping for a bit of peer support and encouragement as I thought I'd be back to myself by now. Tips on how to get through the rough periods.

Fluoxetine 20mg 6.5 weeks
Fluoxetine 40mg 1 week
Fluoxetine 20mg 2 weeks
Mirtazapine 15mg 1 week
Mitrazapine tapered off over 1 week
Off all medication 11 weeks ago

Hi @PAMELA, welcome to Taper Community! Sorry to hear about your struggles with the drug switches. Frequent changes can sensitize the nervous system. I would be cautious about adding in anything else. Your body needs time to process all these changes so it can get back to normal. Trazodone - 50 mg
Synthroid - 25 mcg
