Terrified to get off of my 0.5 clonazepam and 1mg suboxone but hate being bound to these meds and feel the benzo is actually making me more unstable over time.

Lexapro — 5mg — 6 years — holding | Lamictal — 25mg — 4 years — holding | Klonopin — 0.5 mg — 3-5 years — researching taper | Suboxone — 1mg daily — 1.5 years — researching taper | without clinician

Hi @Natalie Davis, welcome to Taper Community! I'm sorry that you feel so stuck right now. Yes, unfortunately long-term benzo use can cause interdose withdrawal and other issues. Are you planning on tapering the Clonazepam first? You'll want to taper just one drug at a time.
