In protracted withdrawal from Paxil. Trying to taper Prozac. Looking for a dr who understands tapering and protracted withdrawal.

Prozac — 2.2mg — 4 months — researching taper | without clinician

17-Aug-2026 (7.5mg -> 5mg)
9 months - actively tapering
- Procyclidine 5mg - 9 months - actively tapering
- Propranolol - 20mg - 1 year - holding
- Xanax - 0.25mg - 7 months - holding

I think it would be best to wait until you are fully stabilized before beginning your Prozac taper.

Hi @Michele! Welcome.... I agree with @guava378; it's better to wait until you're stable first before trying to taper another drug. How long have you been off the Paxil? Catina 🩷

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
