I was bring treating for tick-borne illnesses and was under 100 lbs with zero appetite & muscud wasting. Olanzapine was prescribed to help stimulate appetite, stop histamine food reactions and helped me to eat & gain weight back. Now my appetite is very high, weight gain continues, lipids are too high & it’s time to slow taper.
Zyprexa — 5 mg — 7 months — researching taper | without clinician

Hi @Lori GP, nice to have you here (although I'm sorry you have to be).
Unfortunately, antipsychotics can have those unwanted side effects. I'm glad you're going to slowly taper off so you can get your health back! Here is some information about Zyprexa:
