Hi, I'm Kevin Roy

I was given escitalopram for an assumed chemical imbalance. Had a bad reaction and multi-year withdrawal. Now I try to educate others as to how psychiatric drugs work, and how they produce your symptoms. I have been drug free for about 2 years..

Hi Kevin Roy! thanks for joining us. Are you saying that you are totally OFF the escitalopram? I don't' see any drugs in your signature. Yay!

atypical in presentation of side effects, super sensitive to small doses and general delayed responder. never took a psych med that didn't' make me sick immediately with infections and restless legs. have never been able to tolerate being on them, but have never had support to get off so I've been bouncing back and forth. i don't like capital letters. sorry.

Paxil — 1 mg — 2 yrs — holding until Oct. 7 doc appt.
Seroquel — 50 — planning taper |
trileptal -75 planning taper
prasozin 1 mg planning taper

Hi thanks. If I can help I will. @Based has been asking for a while for me join. Being busy with sorting out what the SSRI was doing to the brain and body every time I sit down it kept taking my attention. Now that I'm mostly done with that I can shift my focus to helping out. This is written in a professional format for clinicians. It comes with full citations from research papers, demonstrating serotonin related circuits are sensitive up to at least 60 days after drug washout. It demonstrates how WAY-100635 reversed sexual dysfunction in rodents. It isolates what I believe is the suspected source of PSSD, that is the 5-HT1A autoreceptor remaining uncoupled long term.
