"how to help ease the discomfort of withdrawl as much as possible?"
— @Kate738
The best thing to do is to listen to your body. If our symptoms become too bothersome, that's a sign we need to hold for awhile so we can stabilize. We don't want to keep pushing through symptoms. Also, perhaps we need to make smaller reductions. Finding the pace that suits our own nervous system really is key.
Also, if you go to the Symptoms and Self-Care section of the forum and click on the Guides tab, you'll find lots of helpful information and tips.
"With Clozaril specifically is it possible to do a hyperbolic taper without rebound psychosis or does it have to be a cross taper where another med is inteoduced to help with coverage?"
— @Kate738
From what I've learned, the safest way off any drug is to do a slow taper without adding in another drug into the mix. It can really complicate matters, and then you have another drug you need to taper later on.
