I've been on Lamictal since 2019 and Latuda since 2024. I'm interested in the collective wisdom about why I might taper one or the other first. I have tried to taper before, was given the 4 week schedule that this site says is too fast--that was my experience for sure. Now I'm on what seems to be my lowest stable dose of both medications. All advice welcome!

Hi @Julian, welcome to Taper Community! You're doing the right thing by approaching any upcoming tapers with thoughtfulness and forethought. Some people choose the most activating drug to taper first and save the one that helps with sleep last. However, if you know that one of your drugs is causing you particular difficulty, it might be best to taper that one first. Everyone's situation is different. Synthroid - 25 mcg
