I spent over 20 years in the psychiatric system — poly-drugged and put through electroshock. I’ve been off psychiatric drugs for 7 years now, and have escaped the clutches of psychiatry and big (p)harma. Getting off the drugs was brutal, but little by little I fought my way off them—sometimes one bead at a time. These days, I’m a writer and grief coach who speaks openly about the medicalization of human emotions and the harms of psychiatry. I'm happy this space exists for people tapering. It’s not an easy road. For those who are tapering, hang in there. You can get there too-one bead at a time. Much love and support, Jules

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 16.64 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Synthroid - 25 mcg
