Hi Joao! Welcome to Taper Community. Sorry to hear about your symptoms. When our nervous system gets sensitized then we can have issues such as what you described. I find socializing difficult too, so just do what you can and don't push yourself past your limitations. It will get better with time. Here is some information we have about tinnitus. I hope it helps! https://taper.community/thread/c378f707-808b-4db9-881e-e0108e5d2c5a https://taper.community/resources/blog/tinnitus-from-medication-withdrawal I'm not sure how you're tapering, but sometimes we may need to hold our dose for awhile until things improve a bit. Holding is an important part of the healing process. We look forward to having you here, and I hope things improve for you soon! Catina 🌸

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Welcome João. Tinnitus and social discomfort are two of the more stubborn ones, but they do tend to fade with time. Catina is right that holding can help when things get rough. Worth logging check ins under My Taper as you go, you'll see the pattern clearly after a few weeks. And jump in on other posts when you can, your experience with this will help someone else coming up behind you.
