I'm currently tapering from Citalopram which I've been on for 6 weeks. Immediately prior to that I'd been on Escitalopram for 8 years. Prior to this many different antidepressants. I'm all I've been in antidepressants for 22 years.
I've been tapering for 2 weeks and am mainly experiencing GI related withdrawal symptoms.
I'm hoping the community can help with ways of reducing / managing these symptoms.

22 years is a long stretch, and switching from escitalopram after 8 years to citalopram is a big deal. GI issues are usually one of the first things to show up with these meds, and it tends to settle as your system recalibrates.
Catina pointed you to some good resources there. Worth logging your check-ins under My Taper as you go, you'll see the pattern clearly after a few weeks. And don't hesitate to jump in on other people's posts, someone coming off an SSRI for the first time could use what you've learned from all those years.
