Hi Jackie I am also tapering off Sertraline and have cut down from 50mg to 25. I have been on it 15 years so my advice would be to do it very slowly taking the same dose each day and I have been filing the edges of the tablets rather than cutting in half. Don't be afraid to stay at a certain dose for a few weeks until any symptoms subside before continuing. Good luck.

Hi @Jackie! 👋 I was on 50mg for 10 years, and I'm down to 22.5mg. My biggest lesson: take your time (just like my fellow taperers have said)! I'm doing a water taper now, as I found it difficult to weigh the powder in my capsules reliably, and so far it works out for me. So if you have any questions about that, just hit me up!
