Hi I'm on Sertraline , currently 25mg down from 50mg. I've been on it for 15 years. Bit on other similar meds before this off and on. I know I have been sold a lie and am suffering from the withdrawl. I've decided to stop at 25mg until I feel a bit better. I just don't want to feel alone in this.

Welcome Heather. Fifteen years is a long time to be on anything and you are right to hold at 25mg until things settle. You are not alone here, plenty of us have been exactly where you are. Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Zoloft · holding

I cut down by cutting each 50mg in half. One tablet a fortnight then another until they were all at half. I now know this was probably too much so I've taken my foot of the pedal and decided to stick with this doseage. When I feel better I will try reducing by ten percent.
