I have been taking Prozac for 20 years. I have been tapering from 30 mg since December 2025. At the moment am down to 0.48 mg. Since reaching 1 mg, I have had severe withdrawal at times.

Hi @Gunter, welcome to Taper Community! Congrats for getting down so low in your taper. The greatest changes in serotonin receptors happen at these very low doses. When was your last reduction? You may need to hold your dose for awhile until you stabilize. You definitely don't want to keep pushing through symptoms. Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Wow, nice work @Gunter. If you are like me, you may be feeling frustrated for the "stall" in progress, but 30mg (after 20 years) down to less than half a mg is incredible. Having to slow down now sucks, but good for you for sticking with it 👍 What was your tapering schedule like before reaching 1mg?
