I just recently completed a relatively fast cross taper from Paroxetine to Valizodone. I was on 20 mg Paroxetine for 5 years before going up to 30 mg two years ago, so was on it a total of 7 years. After experiencing “poop out” earlier this years, I began the cross taper to Vilazodone. I am having severe symptoms. Seeking support, encouragement and advise.
Paxil — 2.5 mg — 7 years — completed taper | Viibryd — 30 mg — 1 month — holding

I'm sorry you find yourself in such a tough spot. What symptoms were you experiencing during "poop out?"
How did you perform your cross-taper and for how long?
Paroxetine is a drug that can cause significant withdrawal symptoms, so you could very well be experiencing this even with switching over to a new drug.
What symptoms are you dealing with now?
