I am looking to get off of Lexapro now that I am not experiencing extreme distress like when I was on it. I am hoping to be able to feel my sadness normally and cry again. I believe this community will help me prepare for tapering off medication and dealing with depression without it.

Many people find that once they get off these drugs they're able to feel again. There are many non-drug treatments that can help with depression. We'll be happy to help you find what's best for yourself.
