Hi, I'm EL

Hi, I’m EL. I’ve been on Sertraline (Zoloft) for almost 15 years. I crashed after a too-fast taper from a Psychiatrist. I am holding at 50mg and working to stabilize. It’s been 6 months now. I’m definitely improving a lot, but still going through the waves and windows. I’m working with Outro, who has been great. I’m looking to learn and connect.

Hello EL...welcome! The same thing happened to me with Effexor - I had a horrible crash after tapering too fast. I'm glad to hear you're holding now so you can stabilize. Holding is an important part of this process. Is there anything in particular you need help with? You can check out the Symptoms and Self-Care section for advice on how to deal with specific symptoms and what to avoid during tapering and withdrawal. We're happy you're here and look forward to supporting you on your path to healing. Catina ❤️

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Hey El, great your are here and yes, i experienced the same! Tapering really is an art to master! Slowly and with enough time to stabilize you will move on and on. There are a lot of blogposts and i informationsl posts by Catina on this platform, you sure find interesting information here and will see you might face similar problems like others on this journey. But it‘s possible. Keep fighting my friend! 💪👍
