Hi, I'm Dove Darling

September 11, 2026··
Hello, I’m dove and after a sudden change in insurance I have to taper off my antipsychotic, Capylta. There’s not much known since it’s a very new med and my current provider has very little information on what going off this medication looks like. I’m here to hopefully meet others and get some information 🩷

Hi @Dove Darling, welcome to Taper Community. 🩷 You're the second member who says they are on Capylta. If you'd like to connect with her, her username is @Tabithamatters. Yes, it is a very new drug. We usually recommend a 10% monthly Hyperbolic taper for most drugs and in most situations. Some people can go faster, some slower. It's best to start conservatively to see how you react first. You can read about Hyperbolic tapering in the Resources section. Have a look around the site and the forum topics; there's lots of helpful information. We're happy to have you with us as you taper off your drug. Catina 🩷

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
