What does your tapering regimen look like? How much are you reducing by and how often? If our symptoms begin to feel too overwhelming, it might be a good time to hold our dose for awhile until things stabilize before making another reduction. Holding is a very important part of the tapering process too sometimes! It's vital that we listen to what our body is telling us and adjust things accordingly. Another thing we can do is reduce by a lesser percentage.
Paroxetine is known for causing withdrawal symptoms and can become challenging, especially when you get below 5 mg.
What symptoms are you dealing with? For people with trauma, psychiatric drug withdrawal can be extra hard, especially if the trauma is still unresolved. Our nervous system holds onto trauma. Here is a link that I hope you'll find helpful:
