Hi, I'm Concerned Mother

My son has been approved by BC medical for "reduced" medication this week. I want to get as much information as possible for myself and my 40 year old son who has been on psychiatric medication/depot shots for many years.

You will want to make sure your doctor has knowledge of Hyperbolic tapering, which you can read about in the Learn section. You can also suggest that your doctor purchase a copy of The Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines.
What drugs is your son taking? Is it his goal to completely taper off?

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
